It was the annual Duxford Airfield Safety Day where GA aircraft had half price landing fees and crews, including my brother in Piper Arrow N2136E, and passengers paid £5 entrance fee to the museum including presentations by a wide range of Air Safety and General Aviation organisations including the CAA, NATS and the Met Office. A few of the 40+ aircraft that arrived during the day in the order they were taken, mostly leaving after the event.
