Two Extremes

In a couple of weeks I will be flying for the first time on an EMB Embraer Bandeirante, on a flight from Liverpool to Cork with Keenair. Having never flown on this type I wondered if anyone here has experienced it before ??

Also at Christmas (long way off I know) Im off to Sri Lanka using Emirates via Dubai from Manchester. I think I should be flying on A330 and maybe Boeing 777 onwards to Colombo. What is Economy like on EK, Ive heard its good ! Cheers.

I am quite looking forward to it, i think you should get a “real” flying feel to it. Been on other small aircrafts before several J31,Sabena Beechcraft and a Twin Otter of Brymon, and found them all quite fun.

RE: Two Extremes

Well ive heard they rank as one of the best. Been to Sri Lanka before with Sri Lankan Airlines (Ex Air Lanka). It was fine (A 340) except the reurn flight where we had to retutn to Colombo twice because the wheels would not retract !
