Well, there’s just 6 days now until Airtours officially become MyTravel.
When the 1st May comes, there are of course going to be Airtours aircraft in the skies. If the aircraft takes off on 30th April and lands on 1st May, this means it was an Airtours flight when it took off but a MyTravel flight when it landed, right? Does this then mean that AIH111 for example would become MYT111 when the clock strikes midnight or would it remain as Airtours?
Sorry, I’m confused!

RE: Airtours – Last Few Days
Yes, I would think it realistic to use the same flight code all through the flight. Airtours are keeping ‘Kestrel’ as their callsign. Its just the codes that will change. I wouldnt mind being on one of those flights!
The new colours are actually quite ok…the name though! Its going to take some getting used to. I much prefer Airtours.
good night AIH. RIP

Wouldn’t changing callsigns half way through a site cause administration / air traffic control problems?
Surely when ana ircraft departs they have to use the same callsign for landing

RE: Airtours – Last Few Days
i’m not sure but we’ve already had a/c into leeds under the MYT callsign! – i presume it will stay the same callsign as it took off under
