After replying to one of saab’s pics (the BA 757 @ Frankfurt) I thought this may be an interesting post.
I have many favourites and have not quite decided on a single one yet. It would be from either…B744, B757, Dash 8, A320 or A330 (thats not all!). I suppose I could just say they are all great!
What is your fav. airliner?

Read the name and recognise. If you are not clever enough to it’s the Boeing 757, pure class and beauty. This time i’m not mentioning Airbus at all. So there. If you don’t have a clue what i’m talking about I suggest you check out by previous ‘Airbus’ or ‘The Boeing 757’ articles

I’m so ashamed not mentioning Concorde, especially being British, one of our and France’s greatest achievements in aviation, oh the shame of it all, prepare the gallows etc etc etc.

We have already replier to a similar survey on last week with the tri-jets.
Mine are definitely DC10 -MD11 types.
After comes A330 definitely the most elegant.
Then Concorde .
B777 is a great stuff.

I think its safe to say that not many people have an all time fav. airliner. Instead…. We have several all time fav. airliners! This is much better because they’re all great.
No offence to any Russian a/c fans or to viewers of Thunderbirds. However I am glad that someone knows what i’m on about….that could have been a bit embarrassing!

Here’s my list. Vintage – DH Comet, VC10.
Others – TriStar (very photogenic with it’s beautifully shaped nose), MD82, Boeing 747-400, Avro RJ,, Boeing 727, Airbus A340, Airbus A320, Boeing 767 is not too bad, Fokker 50 and also the old F27 are fun to fly on. Least favourite is Boeing 737-400 owing to an unpleasant experience on an Icelandair machine.
I’ve never been on a Russian type, but I am very interested in them.

OFCOURSE! I knew there was somthing missing…concorde. How could I forget! (well I did say ‘thats not all’.)
And the B777 (all varients) is a fantastic a/c both to fly and to look at.
All your fav. a/c are looking pretty good!
I somtimes think that the TU154 looks similar 2 somthing seen @ the airport on ‘Thunderbirds’ (not that I watch thunderbirds). Anybody else spotted this similarity? (I think its that pointed tail).

yeah – i go with the general concencus – DC-10, B757, BAe 146, A320, B737, but i also like the TU-154 – it looks so sleek on the ground – only ever seen one on the ground at Leeds as it usually comes in first thing on sunday morning!! – also howcome no1 has concorde on their lists!!!

Ok all your comments are based on being passengers or aviation lovers.A pilots dream plane is the B777-200 it is a grand plane to work with and handles a treat the 300 series is a bit annoying on the ground due to its length but in the air faultless

Yeah,
the 757 without a doubt!!! I love both versions, -200 and -300 operate with one of my favourite airlines JMC.
