New services confirmed

Easyjet have announced a new twice daily route from Liverpool to Paris CDG starting 02 May 02 and they will also begin 5 times a day CDG-LTN on 12 June 02.

A Geneva serice will run from Orly airport starting 10 May.

This is great news for me I have friends near Paris and have always had to pay BA/AF prices from Manchester, im sure the new Liverpool-Paris link will prove very popular, as their other services have been. Prices are starting at £17.50 one-way. Easyjet also announced increased frequencies on LPL-NCE AND LPL-BFS.

I guess they are not concentrating on one Paris airport due to slot problems ? I suppose once they are operating from Paris they will have more chance on altering that should they want to.

RE: New services confirmed

Easyjet is definately very eager to expand on its French low cost services, there is not much in the way of low cost carriers in France except for Air Lib which I believe is offering low cost services between French cities,so Easyjet should be a very popular optionion. If services are started between CDG and NCE it may also be giving the TGV a run for its money!By mid-June,4 737s and 15 daily services will be operating from CDG and ORY.
