RE: $1 million dollars
A fraise beginnging with w and ending in r come sto mind but unfortunetly they block susch words on the forum so i can’t be bothered to post it. He is a sad little boy in my opinion who has never grown up just like Peter Pan. If i was an airport secuirty guard i would search him because he might have computer equipment that could do something to avonics like mobile phones do.
My dad cannot turn his model off due to the nature of his job except on aeroplanes. One time he left it on during a flight from Belfast City to London CIty and nothing happened to the Dash 8 on his journey but he doesnt make a habbit as it is better safe than sorry!

“My client is a cyborg not a terrorist”
Good grief!
I’m not a legal eagle, but it seems to me that airlines reserve the right not to carry somebody. If they insist on conditions in order to carry somebody, that is their right. The Prof. could have walked out of the search whenever he wanted…as long as he understood he would not be boarding the flight.
It also goes without saying that airlines are allowed to take “reasonable” steps to ensure safety.
