What on earth is this topic still doing on the first page of the forum? Can we not just let it go?! We are all entitled to opinions and we all have them and if people cannot accept what someone else thinks, they should just grow up… this is an aviation forum, not one for those you want to argue constantly.

I agree with V1,this forum when i joined around a year ago was very civilised and members respected each other.The forums are not that bad now,its just a few who spoil it for the rest of us.Maybe if some people thought before they posted then we wouldn’t need to go through this again…

Why can’t everyone just get along? I’ve been a member of this forum for two years, and it seems a lot more hostile than it used to be. Perhaps it’s because more people are using it now? Still, it’s not as bad as the Airliners.Net forums….

Sorry to say this, but I find your style highly irritating. We do not wish to know about the Maldives. We do not wish to know your hair colour, and there was no need to tell everyone you were female the first time you posted, or did you think you would be the only female around here? We are not interested in cocktails, and do you really need to refer to everyone as “sugar”?? I’m sorry, but this sort of posting gives out the wrong impression about women on the forum, some of us want to discuss aviation without constant reference to gender (which is irrelevant) and we do not talk about drying our hair. I’m sorry to be harsh, but your style is all wrong on this forum.

1) if you wrote you should exect to get a reply as to why especailly if the reson is not clear.

2) i’m intrested in what everyone esle is doing out there, if you don’t like it read on

3) by her telling us she is a woman we can avoid making cockups like when a lot of people assumed (myself included) that ashley (flypast) was a bloke.

4) don’t diss the signiture, i like it

5) a while ago there were no women here (geforce asked this a lot) and this made us wonder if we were anti women in some way but now there is a significant minority here and thats good

6) if you don’t want to read these coments move on, don’t get stressed

ok some sarguments may have MINOR merrit to some people but to rate like this means you really hate them (ie see some of the indian sub conitnet posters ratings – not kabir, but the flammers).

I stand by the rating. What is the point of the ratings system if there is uproar if anyone gets a negative with comments?? There was nothing offensive in the rating and I fail to see why everyone is so up in arms about it.

Kelly, Sweetheart Pic a place and you can find Beaches and Airports very close by, In fact most of the coastal airport are right near a beach of some sort! I love flying in to belmont AP up in Newcastle, You come in over a beach and leave over another!

Kelly, I support what you say!, the person could had refrained themselves alot more than this, and I don’t think this person Knows what they are on about anyway!

Another fact, why is most of their detail hidden? What are they trying to hide, I mean you can’t even send them an email cause they never entered one in!!! I like being called sugar cause it takes me back to a time where aviation was at its greatest (WWII) 😉
As for the Maldives, I’m jealouse that I wasn’t there drinking cocktails with you sweetheart 🙂

I have no problem with your writing, as I have indicated in your ratings awhile ago. Personally I think that she is upset that you are much more aware of what’s going on than her!

Dont get me wrong, I dont mind it after all everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I do belive I should be able to defend myself, however I have no means to contact Sabena_A340 as they have disabled rating, email and private message.

But I do think before people rate others it would be nice that they have participated in the discussions on the forum.

we had problem with some idot on afm slagging off comet and he was “delt with” (though he was very rude). saying something like that can best be done by email.

This ain’t that bad, i already had much worse than this, though not on my ratings 🙂 I don’t agree with him/her ofcourse (though his choise of airplanes is excellent). It’s nice to learn eachother via this board, and you can’t help you’re blond, can you :+ :+
Also, I haven’t seen anything from his/her on this board, so that’s a bit odd to say such thing if you don’t participate a lot!

probably not my place to say, but you have already got 9 points and only made 16 posts. that’s really good going, but if one person doesn’t like the way in which you use the forum, he/she is entitled to make a negative point.

remember, the purpose of a forum is to put across the ‘opinions’ which is what Sabena_A340 was obviously doing.
