[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-02-02 AT 04:42 PM (GMT)]Whilest seraching the web for info on planes for my mini airline, I came across a rather big plane that I’d never heard of, though the details where in Russian, one of the few lanuguges I don’t know, I couldn’t tell more about it except that it was a twin deck airliner about the same size as the 747 but it had folding wings lik on a carrier plane 😮
Anyone out there care to comment about it, it’s called the KR-860

RE: Russian Monster
I have seen this before….it was supposed to be the next large capacity jet for Russia but the project was surpresed in favour of Il 86/96 varients. This varient also continued to have many problems with hydrolics…..i also heard one of its 3 prototypes crashed doing trials in Siberia.
