A321 or B757???

Wot does everyone think?

I’d personally prefer the 757, its an allround better aircraft than the Airbus rival. Its kewl having airlines choosing one or the other but airlines like Air 2000,My Travel, Monarch and US Airways operate both!

They don’t look the same ( Do they???? 🙂 ) but I might just have to say that I prefer the A321 looks wise!!

RE: A321 or B757???

Airbus models with the sidestick are the following:

A318
A319
A320
A321
A330
A340

The above all share common cockpits. The older models, such as A300 and A310 have a standard yoke.

757 and 767 have identical cockpits, though the new 767-400ER is different isn’t it? I heard the cockpit on this is similar to the 777.

and i am pretty sure that not all airbuses have a common cockpit.I think think the A300 and A310 are different to the rest of the airbus variants

I think you will find that cockpit in the 757 and the 767 are almost identical is what i should have said and requiers very little training to switch from one to another

Boeing has not fleet commondity. A pilot flying a Airbus could fly any Airbus. And about superiority, in anyway Boeing is superior. Simply different.

RE: A321 or B757???

The 757 only because my first rating was on a 767 and they are an identical cockpit which makes it an easy switch. But the A321 is a comfortable plane and handles well so i found on a lufthansa flight.I have always seen boeing as a superior product to that of Airbus

Both are good aircrafts and are meant for the same purpose, but the A321 is more advanced than the B757, although the B757 is considered more spacious. But really, it is extremely hard to compare any products of Airbus and Boeing.

Comparing again planes¡, Both are great. In terms of technology the A321 is much more advanced. The B757 is more stable, but the A321 is more cost effective. In terms of personal tastes, externally the B757 is nicer, but inside the A321 is more confortable.

RE: A321 or B757???

The 757 beats the A321 hands down. Not that I’m saying the A321 is a bad aircraft, it’s a good and capable aircraft. The 757 is slightly bigger, has more range, better take off performance, greater passenger capacity and is an all round better looking aircraft.

The A321 has a slightly wider cabin than the 757, but having flown on both types, there isn’t all that much difference from a passenger perspective.
