FUEL ON 777-400 v's A340-600

Evening all,

I’m workinn late and a tad bored.

Can the 777-400 carry roughly the same pax load as a A340-600? If so does the A340 suck alot more fuel due to it’s extra two engines?

If it does then why not buy the 777?

I might be miles off, and the 777 might use more fuel :confused:
