Has Virgin Sun ceased operations with their A320/1 fleet??
The last I heard they were being taken over by Air 2000, that was June-ish. Someone told me the last flight flown was in July. Does anyone know anything?
Thanks,

RE: Virgin Sun
Virgin Sun are definatly still flying. Today whe I was checking in at Gatwick north terminal for a BA doestic flight, I noticed that there was check-in for a Virgin Sun flight. I’m not sure where it was to though.

RE: Virgin Sun
Virgin Sun are still flying, well they were last Tuesday. A320 took of on-time (as usual) from EMA to Rhodes, I should think they’ll keep flying until the take-over is complete.
Not heard anything about Monarch though.

RE: Virgin Sun
First Choice is to take full control of Virgin Sun during November. Air 2000 will then operate all flights that Virgin Sun flew. The small Virgin Sun Airbus fleet will not be part of the package however.
On a different note, I’ve heard that Monarch are up for sale. Anybody have any news on this?
