New/restyled a/c c/s in the planning?

Which airline, from which you know already for certain, is planning a new or restyled aircraft colourscheme and/or airline logo in the coming future?

RE: Brittannia new livery

Everybody I know that has seen the new BY colours has reacted in a very, very negative way. I thought JMC and Air 2000 had bad liveries, but the new BY c/s is ridiculous.

It was not Britannia itself which decided on the new colours, it was a TUI idea. All charter airlines which are owned by the latter will all wear the same scheme, be it Hapag lloyd or Britannia. The only difference between carriers will be the titles. This is a great shame as we are crying out for some nice original liveries at the moment, especially in the world of charter airlines. The only recent new colour scheme which has been any good is BMI, and that is a scheduled carrier.

Still, BA backed down when it tried something different with the world images, so maybe we will see TUI change it’s mind when it realises what a mistake has been made and encounters customer reaction.

Brittannia new livery

What can i say with BY’s new livery?i think it looks rubbish and yet again like BA has got rid of anything that resembles that it is British.Yes i thought that BY’s livery was out dated but this new livery is even worse.I found an Hapag-Lyodd 737-500 photo,a partner in the TUI group,on airliners.net.

I’ve seen the colours too and they are horrible. I don’t think many people will like Britannia aircraft in those colours at all.

RE: New/restyled a/c c/s in the planning?

Britannia Airways is getting a new livery, along with it’s sister company Hapag Lloyd. As both carriers now come under the World of TUI banner, they will have an identical livery. I’ve seen the colours already (a Hapag 737 was the first to be repainted) and they look very much like the Korean Air livery(!)

Personally, I’m horrified by the new colours. Both Britannia and Hapag Lloyd are due for a new livery as their current colours have been around for several years, but did they have to go for such a horrible scheme?

Delta’s most recent livery, with the 3 colored ribbon on the tail and all white fuselage, is by far their best. Lot’s of people didn’t like it at first, especially in Atlanta. I get to see their 767-400’s up close(drive up Sepulveda Blvd. before you turn into the terminals, they’re always there next to Delta’s hangar) all the time at LAX in that color scheme, and they are absolutely immaculate.

RE: New/restyled a/c c/s in the planning?

Dear Peter,

Upon Air Holland’s order Lila Design Aviation proposed several design proposals for a new Air Holland logo and aircraft exterior paintscheme. As the airline is relaunched since 2000, Air Holland has to make flights every day during this summer season to make profit. A new Air Holland image is expected to be executed later this year, during the low-season. Air Holland re-started with a B757-200 and had an 100% fleet expansion this year by adding another B757-200.

Air Holland has said for quite some while now they want to introduce a new cs on their aircraft. They don’t seem to be in a hurry though. They have already passed 2 deadlines.

Could be Delta, good suggestion! I liked their new old colours, the one in the middle that didn’t last very long.

I would like to see Monarch have a change, its getting a bit outdated now.

When do we get the answer, I’m looking forward to hearing who it is!
