British European orders Dash 8Q-400's

British European are to replace their CRJ aircraft with the Dash 8Q-400s,in a move which has seen the resignation of its CEO.ere brought in to service in 1999 to replace the FK-27’s.They are replacing the CRJ because of no suitable routes to be operated in the code share agreement with Air France, also a poor performance last year because of fuel costs and the expense associated with the name change. The CRJ’s will not stop services with BE for another 2 years. There is more information on this in the latest issue of Airlinerworld.(September 2001)
