Has anyone else ever flown into Kerkyra, Greeces most dangerous airport?
I love it!!!
The approach is cool, with hotels left and right of the aircraft just before you touch down and getting the power up on the breaks before the Captain commits to a take-off run!
I’ve only ever been on a 757 there;
Caledonian Airways (1992)
Ambassador Airways (1993,1994)
Air 2000 (1999,2000)
and on Monday (30yh July)I’m flying a JMC 757.
You can also see some kewl aircraft from other countries, Condor 757-300’s, Malev Hungary TU-154’s, Olympic 717’s and it has been known for a Royal A340 from a Middle-Eastern Country to land there once or twice…

Yes I did, however some years ago.
By the way, is it really so dangerous?
Now comes the fun part….we stayed in one of these hotels underneath the aproach, a bit noisy
You do need any suntannning oil, this is provided free of charge with all charter lines, but the view was good.
