Memorabilia

Although I’m only 15, I have managed to keep alot of airline realted memorabilia, some of which i know are collectables.

I have baording passes, safety cards ‘Removed from the aircraft’, Magazines, model aircraft and most of the gifts airlines sell on their duty free trolleys.

What, if anything, does everyone else collect or keep?

Some of my prized stuff have to be my model planes. I have full sets from Caledonian, Leisure Intl, Air 2000, Monarch, Airtours Intl and a few from other defunct airlines like Ambassador Airways, Flying Colours and Airworld. Baring in mind these were something like £7-£8 when i first bought them, I should get a tidy sum in years to come 😉

RE: Memorabilia

I used to collect anything with an airline logo on it. Like you the magazines, ocassional safety card, blankets and I always bought a model if I hadn’t already got one. Also anything else with a logo on, baggage tags that are available at check-in and I had quite a collection (may still have some) of the salt and pepper, sugar sachets they gave you on the plane.
May still have the odd Air Malta one or two in their old colours which must be at least 10-15 years old. Won’t be putting that on my chips though!
