Is it true that Celtic will now operate flights from Teesside from September? And does anyone have any info on Celtic Airways?
Cheers

RE: Teesside – Brussels with Celtic Airways
I do not know if it is the same airline but a new airline with the name Celtic Airlines were going to fly from both Teeside and Sheffield City to Brussels and Cork using Fokker 50`s and I think ATR`s. But this was about 2 years ago. They were going to be based at Teeside and were even listed in Sheffield yellow pages but nothing ever happened.

RE: Teesside – Brussels with Celtic Airways
This was first mentioned last year, with an original proposed start date of April 2001. If I remember they advertised for cabin crew to be based at Teesside. I believe that Celtic Airways are a new operator (not to be confused with EuroCeltic who operate a couple of Fokker Friendships) and they planned to use Dash 8’s on a twice daily service to Brussels. I haven’t seen anything in the local press yet about starting this September, so who knows, but it’s about time that some additional services were provided from Teesside.
