A dull, but enjoyable, day at manchester (5.9.05) – 56k!!!

Had the heads up that Manchester was using 06L & 06R on Monday, so headed down first to the threshold of 06R…

Then off over hill and dale (well down hill, under tunnel, then up hill!) to the land just between 06L and 06R near where the snow ploughs are kept…

This was the Delta 767 that caused the PIA 747 to do a go around. Missed the photo opportunity of the year with this one, actually got a shot farmed with the 767 in the lower forground with the 747 banking off above, but the camera would not focus on the grey sky!!!!!

Managed to get a shot of the PIA 747 on it’s second attempt!

I’ll post some more, when I’ve recovered the images from a now dead as a Dodo CF card 🙁
