Has anyone seen the JMC 753 yet? It operates through NCL on a MAN-NCL-GIR-NCL-MAN flight once a week.

RE: JMC’S FLEET EXPANTION
JMC has got now their first 757-300 been told that it is a pax of 280 saw a few photos only 15 orders for this aircraft have been placed and I think once you cee this a/c you will see why boeing have only expanded the middle section put in NG 737 things nothing that would make an airline really go for this 753 I think they should have made more effort and totally trying to give us an all new 757-200 so you agree or not let us know. Look forwarded to your replys cheers guys 🙂

RE: JMC’S FLEET EXPANTION
It is definate JMC will use a 763 ths summer. BHX summer timetables indicate this and the airline will use them to fly sun seekers to Orlando and I think the Dominican Republic as well. I think the 767 will be more reliable than those veteran DC-10’s they insist on flying each year!

RE: JMC’S FLEET EXPANTION
Hi. I am new here and this is my first post.
JMC are indeed getting A330s. however they are not arriving just yet, and for summer 2001 they are leasing a 767 from Britannia. one of the DC10s is on standby, i think the other will be operational, and they will be rotated. There was talk of JMC leasing an A300 for the summer, although I do not think they are, I think the 767 is instead, although i am not sure.
I hope this helps

RE: JMC’S FLEET EXPANTION
I flew both of JMC Air’s two DC-10 aircraft last August as part of a package holiday. The holiday was great, the flights were cra. I think the two registration codes are G-GKOT and G-LYON, I flew G-GKOT from LGW to POP and G-LYON on return. I have never felt so scared of flying in my life. The inside of G-GKOT is absolutely foul! The ceilings in the cabin are caving in, the seats are faulty…a member of my family had to be moved when getting ready to line up on the runway on our return journey. We had even pre-booked our seats with the airline and nothing was done.
Changing the subject from the aircraft itself, the food is crap, the crew are rude, I was 15 at the time and a steward gave me a beer as a free drink!! Coming home, I wasn’t allowed alcohol when they offered free drinks!
I still have my two boarding cars from the return journey, so in the unlikely event that anybody flies G-LYON, please can you take a stroll up to seat 29D and give it a kick, see if it still faulty to this day!
–Mike–
P.S. It will say I am a guest, but I’m not!!! :o)

RE: JMC’S FLEET EXPANTION
JMC are getting rid of the DC-10 ‘junk jets’ as they are getting long in the tooth, and they are being replaced with the A330-200. I know they have around three 753’s on order, I heard they’ll be in service later this year, although there are several reports stating an introduction to service in 2002. I’m flying JMC from BHX to Crete in September, so I’ll be keeping my eyes open as to any further developments in their fleet. I do know I’m going on a 752 though.
I have been ill recently, so I’ve lost track of a few things, I’m going to find out their fleet plans fully, and I’ll let you know.
Regards,
V1
