Spoke to the pilot yesterday. Is perfectly fine but determined to not to become famous. Seemed to spend an awful lot of the day driving the launch cable recovery vehicle!!

The reports all said that the cockpit area was badly damaged but the photos in the local rag show the cockpit area to be pretty much intact. OK so the nose cone is a bit damamged but the wings look far worse than the fuselage.
