Was hoping for a torrential downpour today..but I was denied!!!! Started off at the usual spot near the rotation point of 24L at the end of Wood Lane….
Slight OT: Does anybody know what the markers are for (as seen in the runway verge below the 747) along the length of the runway?

The show stopper for the non-spotting visitors. As soon as it landed you could hear all the chatter and talk. I actually heard one girl say to her hubby/boyfriend…”Oh they must have fixed it after the crash”.. I called it a day after that. :confused:
