I nominate two New Zealand pilots for the Darwin award.
The pilots drank massive amounts of alcohol, one apparently smoked marijuana, and they both decided to fly at night time in windy, rainy, low visibility conditions despite the fact the pilots and aircraft were not qualified to fly at night.

They should have known better than to drink within 8 feet of an airplane and smoke 50 hours before a flight!
