I remember years ago when I had a glider based at Old Sarum,from the launch point we heard a very loud
BBRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrr…my mate and I both said ”sounded like a prop going through a wing”…it had been (i think) a mechanic taxying a cessna single into a slingsby firefly (wooden) wing …ouch 😮
