The Last British Aircraft

With all the talk on BREXIT, a thought come to me whilst looking at some comments on facebook. I am all for leaving, as i know Britain cant survive if it continues being screwed over at every opportunity. Which brings me to this question.

Let me tell you a story first of all of the Eurofighter Typhoon. Development began in 1983, first flight of EAP prototype 1986. Typhoon prototype as we know it, first flight 1994 entered service first in Germany 2003, not in the UK until 2007. That’s 24 years for 1 aircraft. Surrounded in political debate, and squabbling from France (they pulled out & made their own plane) Germany & Spain. World War 2 was only 6 years, and in that time Great Britain produced 115 different aircraft types (not including sub variants) Now tell me if the UK isn’t fcuked up right now, its never going to get better, until we gain control of the UK again.

What was the last British Aircraft that we Manufactured in its entirety, not part builds like the Harrier, or Eurofighter?
