Found details of this by mistake (sorry-not able to provide a link because my phone wont allow it)-Such a clever idea-a flight module with a seperate wings, tail, engine and prop that bolts onto a lotus elise and blows you to in flying!-trouble is, the website is dated 2002-dont know if its going ahead

No problem, still doesn’t answer the question whether it is pogressing!:confused: There are other newer projects in this area which might be more promising.
