Does anyone in the know, know what has happened to the traditional last night ? I look forward to this as a feast of classical music but, it now appears to be anything but. Dumbing down hardly fits the description.
I had the impression that there were more than enough ‘pop’ programs to cater for those tastes. Have musical tastes and appreciations so changed that classical is now removed to the outer fringes ?
Probably just another triumph for the lumpen lefties of the Beeb.
