Again.. apologies to mods if i’m posting in the wrong place.
So, after my earlier visit to White Waltham, i ventured north to Wolverhampton.. a place i have been itching to visit for years.
There is a public car park here,£1 entry, and the airfield is open to wander around, the folk are very friendly here, as long as you are using common sense and stay out of the hangars etc.. without permission.
The shots:

Thats all folks
Thanks for looking.

Wolves Airprt!!
I have posted elsewere about my childhood at Raf Cosford. After dad left the RAF we also went to Live in Wolverhampton. My School backed onto the old original Woverhampton Airport at Pendeford. I remember watching the 2 Dakotas owned by Don Everall Avition & a DH Dragon Rapide. There was also some private flying , The occassional Vickers Viking & when they made the film”The Man In The Sky” with Jack Hawkings we used to get a couple of Bristol Frieghters.Turner sports cars also had a facility on the Airport. In later years , after flying had finished , I got a job in one of the Hangars that had been turned into a Cash & Carry Wharehouse. Boulton Paul also used the airport for flight testing Various aircraft. Many years ago , I drove passed the sight, only to find it was now a large housing etate complete with School & supermarket.Hence we have Halfpenny Green —Miles away from Wolverhampton!!!:(
