It is not unknown for an agency to launch a campaign knowing that it will be objected to. By the time the process has run there will be all the normal exposure and the added PR from its ‘banning’.
Or, to describe this in three words, “Shepherd Neame – Spitfire”. I’m sure you all know what I mean…

When the findings are for the complaint, the agency apologises and promises never to run that campaign again.
