Pilot's Earnings

Hi there,
My name is Daria. I’m currently doing Higher physics and next year I’m progressing to University of Leeds for Aviation Technology & Pilot Studies.

I was just wondering, How much does a pilot earn weekly/monthly?

Moving to the short/medium haul charter twin jets doubled my turboprop salary and then moving to long haul schedule quads very nearly doubled my charter salary. All of this without considering changing which side of the cockpit I was sitting on. My brother (national carrier long haul ETOPS skipper) approximately doubles my salary. What annoys me though is that his ex-wife gets more in alimony than I earn!

Hi

The question is too open-ended for there are many different type of pilot roles. For example. BA 747 captain, glider tug pilot, PPL instructor, FO for a small regional turboprop operator. You’re potentially looking at range of £10000-100000!
