B747 question!?

Right!

got my ITVV VS 744 DVD yesturday and its v good!

Also i was flying my PMDG 744 at the time. On landing i saw Summat strange, when ever reversers are used, it seems the inboard leading edge slats retract as the reversers are deployed!

Why does this happen!? Do the slats interefere with the thrust that is being thrown forward?!

Its a question that is baffling me atm!

Anybody have an answer?
