Barry Cardno who recently gave me an interview for Freedom in the Air has kindly sent these brilliant pictures and stimulating video of his homeland New Zealand.
He is one of the very few disabled pilots in New Zealand and fly’s a Tecnam. You may view the video of him flying over Lake Wanaka here http://www.freedom-in-the-air.com
I have started my ground school on aircraft general and principle of flight – I am find it very taxing on the brain. Does anyone have any good suggestions for how I can make learning this easier? Such as any good reference sites or what others have done to get through the book self study mode. For the first time during my PPL training, I have started to wonder if I can get through it and pass all the exams. After this I am going to start to worry about Navigation.
A good person who I recently met has agreed to spend a few hours with me in a couple of weeks to help me with some questions I have on nav – I learnt that he has gone solo this week on a very very big helicopter…
