Latest Radar of Infringement (#3) available

The latest radar replay of an airspace infringement is available – where someone didn’t descend quite as soon as they should to stay under the LTMA over Sussex, but delayed for a short while – enough to force controllers to turn a ‘Gatwick inbound’ for resequencing, with extra cost, delay, fuel burn, etc.
See flyontrack and click on the radar head. All previous radar replays (heathrow CTR, stansted CTA )are still available, selectable from a table at the end of the latest ‘description’ once you have clicked on the radar head.

What does the NMS label mean on the 7000 squawks?

No Mode S

And if the ‘level’ shown is 3 digits, it’s a flight level, if it’s two digits, it’s an altitude (converted by the radar ‘knowing’ the QNH, as the transponder will always transmit a flight level)
