I’m not sure where the confusion comes from.
I think the confusion comes with the presence of the gun, the ‘conspiracists’ would like this to be involved in the cause of the accident.

I’m not sure where the confusion comes from. I’ve always heard…even from the Bonanza’s owner in a documentary that it was a low time pilot taking off in IMC.
Sadly, it wasn’t the first and won’t be the last.
