I can not deny he was a great talent and one of the few from the 1970’s not to have been tarnished with some sort of scandal.
Astonishing to think that Keith Harris may well have stepped foot in both Stoke Mandeville and the Elm Guest House, but only ever drove his digits up the nipsy of a lovable green bird in a nappy. Laudable really given the climate of the time. :applause:
Orville was of course named after Orville Wright, so it seems only appropriate to move this thread to Historic Aviation. Sadly it looks like Orville has been grounded forever, though some compassionate soul might rescue the head from the textile bank in the car park of the Blackpool branch of Tesco. Will it be seen at the next cockpit fest? 😎
