Hi…
Just wondering if anyone out there could help with a project i’m involved in at the moment.
The project is to design (not necessary to build) a human powered aircraft.
If anyone has any information upon materials for construction, designs or ideas for undercarriages, cockpits, wings etc etc please please let me know. Basically any thoughts and ideas would be helpful.

hi… thanks for that and yes i am familiar with the gossamer i’ve been researching into most of them including the velair and airglow and have seen the article on the red bull as well.

Are you familiar with the Gossamer, which I think or a replica does now hangs in the Science Museum in London?

Your best bet perhaps is to send Dr Bill Brooks at Pegasus an email. He’s entering a foot-launched jobbie into one of those “bird men” competitions where they jump off a pier (and sponsored by Red Bull). He may be able to point you in the right direction…
