Hello, I am new to this forum. I have been trying to find information about my grandfather and hoped someone could point me in the right direction as I have hit a wall. In a nutshell he was based at Elvington in 346 or 347 squadron as ground crew. His name we believe was Claude Fillon or Filion? from Lyon. This information came from my frail 90 yr old grandmother who is desparate to find anthing we can.
I hope someone can help in some way.
