Sitting here in the Renaissance Hotel at Heathrow, it’s been 09L for arrivals and 09R for departures and the wind is from the SW so should have been the 27s and they’re just announced that they are about to change runways now (13:50). Departures 27R arrivals 27L.
Compton SIDs have been disrupted all morning/afternoon due to the Farnborough Airshow and the Midhurst SIDs have been disrupted due to storms and the airshow. ATC has been clearing alot of planes off on a ‘Tango 43 departure’ and ‘Tango 40 departure’ does anyone know what these routings are?
This has got to cost Farnborough ALOT of money because alot of planes are delayed due to the airshow?
