James May has a good rant aginst the Noise Nimbys near White Waltham (where he flies) and Dunsfold (where TG is filmed) in this month’s Top Gear Magazine. Citing the fact that filming TG cannot be anywhere near as noisy as testing new Harriers, people have been flying from WW before nearly anyone could have moved there, and that when the antagonisers want to go on holiday the pilots flying them most likely started out by flying their ‘annoying little aeroplanes’ at personal expense
