I just heard on the news that Scott Manning of Toronto was killed today when
his BD-5 Stinger Microject crashed at the Carp airport west of Ottawa.

The Bede BD5J does not have a good reputation, but I have always had a soft spot for them since reading an article on them in Aeroplane Monthly in the early seventies. Any airshow crash is bad news
