James Holland TV programme on D-Day

Surprised not to have seen any reference to this. It followed the highlights from the various commemoration events on Friday night. I thought it was excellent.

I must agree, it was very interesting viewing, in fact most of the coverage was very good. I sat down and watched “The Longest Day” again last night, a good film which showed the part played by the British and Canadians in D Day, sadly lacking in so many “Hollywood” movies.
