Good to see you posting on threads like this.
I know all about the ‘black arts’ of car parts restoration from observing my father-in-law; makes Aerobooting look like child’s play!
It was partly this understanding that prompted us to push the Scammell couplings – still it should get the museum some coverage in some different heritage publications!!
It will be nice when they get Brough plaques unveiled later today.

Howard, There was a program ont telly this week on car restoration. The restorer needed some bits and bobs from another chap who restored upholstery for cars, etc.
This man had a Brough Superior CAR, IIRC, only 15 were ever made, and the owner won’t sell it for any price.
