What we, as aviators, are up against..

Only aeroplane lovers and deaf people shoulld be allowed to live near airports.

Unfortunately any reasoned argument just encourages them. One must just laugh, but be wary that “there’s a lot of it about.”

Absolutely right, however, in the UK , we must be aware that, unfortunately, the authorities listen to these people more than they listen to us.
It took ONE person’s complaints to severely restrict flying at Crowfield, people like Morris-Driver have a lot of weight…..

And I would assume that Morris-Driver probably drives an old British car that is noisier and more polluting than modern vehicles….

I have always viewed Cambridge society as a bit odd.

I used to fly from Marshalls, first at 5AEF and then at Marshalls Flying club, I couldn’t afford a car, and they were the only flying club near me with a Bus route nearby!

Yes there are some muppets around.
What gets me are the people who whine about airports & the noise planes make, but then on the other foot, they go and board an aircraft to go on holiday, someone, somewhere will hear your plane’s noise, and this makes you the biggest hypocrite walking the face of this earth, if people want to moan & whine then don’t EVER board a plane, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr
