If you were stranded….

I was thinking, what if you were stranded on an Island, but had the use of electricity, and a C.D. Player, what would your three favourite CDs be that you would want to be able to play?.
Jack Hargreaves, (Box set) counts as ONE Cd. would be one of mine.
It can be music, Documentaries, your choice.Oh, yes, and you can have ONE book of your choice to read also.

War and peace, sufficently thick enough to keep me in toilet paper for a while.

Assuming you don’t get ill, you mean?;o)

Couldn’t care less. Any three would pall, so the main use would be as a solar signalling device to attract the attention of passing aircraft and ships.

So just three nice shiny ones please.

So Desert Island disks with a twist. In trying to avoid the spontaneous reply and assuming rescue is not within a few days the choices would have to be music which I could really listen to over and over again, not just music I like a lot, and books which I could re-read or which would take a long time to read.

So I reckon a 2CDs of Beethoven and Sibelius and Churchill’s History of the English-Speaking Peoples and H.G Wells Short Stories.

I would swap the CDs and a book for one years supply of food, or a Swedish blonde 😎

You wouldn’t last 6 months with a Swedish Blonde, anyway, where did she come from in all this?.
