Many A330 and A340 go by this seating arrangement
Thanks for the info, I’ve never came accross it as I’ve never been on a A330 or A340.

Also in last Thursday’s Liverpool Echo, their was an advert showing LPL-NYC flying with Zoom, a route currently operated by GSM?

Rumours rising again of Zoom taking on GSMs long haul including CPT from MAN.

Checked in a Zoom flight today. Def only A and C, window and aisle

From what I can make out, seating like this is also the case in Business and First Class cabins. As an example, on the Thai 747s :p the seat next to the window in First Class is A, whereas the one across the aisle, is E.

And I think that all Long Haul Airbus products don’t have a row B
I’m not arguing with this but Zoom Airlines is an all Boeing fleet.

That is not uncommon. The same is also the case with Virgin Atlantic.

It’s expensive beacuse it’s Christmas . There would have been cheaper flights on Zoom, but they will have been few and far between and sold v quickly. Two friends flew Zoom to Calgary from MAN yesterday. Checked progress and flight was early. They paid just over £700 for the two of them outbound to Calgary return from Vancouver – a bargain in my opinion.

I too am really surprised you are quoted such a high price. I just put random dates in for a return flight from Glasgow to Toronto. The total fare including all taxes and charges was just £300.48!!
Final Amount £300.48

Why would you want to fly with Zoom when they are so expensive and have a limited schedule compared to others. I too was about to book with them for 2 adults to Edmonton at Christmas and the cheapest non direct was ex LHR with United at a tad over £1000 and direct with Air Canada at £1370. Zoom were up at £1500 and this was from Gatwick….United for me and the balance pays towards the car hire / hotel
That sounds really surprising as I have seen flights quoted on their website for very little. I was able to find flights between Toronto and CDG for about six or seven hundred Canadian, and that’s return per person.

I am six feet tall as well and weight in at about 230 pounds. Does this mean I might be a little squeezed in their seats?
I think you might be 🙂 if you are make sure you stick your legs out in the aisle 😀

It woukld seem we will be using it to fly between Canada and France. I had heard good things but I didn’t trust the source. Good to hear this person was telling the truth for once. Cheers for the replies.

Have to agree with BMI-Star, I flew from Belfast with Zoom…they are very good and the cost of the return ticket was great…

I have and i have to say, a fantastic little airline. I’d never hesitate in flying with them back to Canada. For the price you pay, you get a good quality meal, good quality IFE, and a nice comfy seat, well C-GZUM was comfortable.
