Do you keep reptiles, Trump? Fascinating study. Do you know of all the beautiful photos posted by everyone above yours of your lovely Alsatian struck me the most! I feel I know him!;)

I do have 4 cornsnakes [one of them feeding ] but the others were just a case of being in the right place ,the swimming snake was at Wicken Fen in Cambridgeshire just as we were walking.The slow worms and Adders were in North Yorkshire and i was looking for them.Ironically my daughter who hates snakes found the adders without trying,wonderful creatures.
The Alsation was Benny,he was a german shepherd cross.We adopted him at about 4 years old and he had chronic skin problems,almost bald and red raw ,bit like a plucked dead chicken to pat.We did manage to get him round a bit better as you can see.A lovely dog.

Nice one, Linc but it goes much deeper. As a baby and toddler in the war my constant companion was my Alsatian and I was very sad when he had to be put down through shell shock after a bomb fell in a nearby street.

Not surprised Chas, it used to be a Police Dog, no doubt had hold of you in the past………..:D

I had some really nice ones of some birds on a bird feeder in the snow but I have no idea where they’ve vanished to…
