Prostitute complaints

Punter calls council to complain about prostitute who refused to have sex with him

A frustrated punter contacted Trading Standards to complain about a prostitute who refused to have sex with him.

The unnamed man, from north London, emailed Harrow Council after being rejected by an eastern European sex worker at a brothel in the borough.

‘The gentleman seemed very aggrieved. He told us he believed he had been refused and was angry about the fact. He insisted that prostitutes shouldn’t be able to behave like that,’ a council source told getwestlondon.co.uk.

‘The man said he had travelled from a neighbouring borough in north London so was obviously a bit upset by his wasted trip. He filled in the form pretty seriously and gave us his contact details.’

It is understood that the brothel in question has since been closed down.

Susan Hall, a Conservative councillor, commented: ‘Prostitution may be the oldest profession in the world, but a complaint of this sort is a new one on us. The trading standards manual doesn’t really cover it.

‘I would like the gentleman involved to visit Harrow again, but perhaps this time he could enjoy some of our more wholesome pursuits – like our wonderful open parks, leisure centres and historic churches.’

And there’s more!

Hello, 999? A prostitute I’ve called for sex is ugly

A peeved punter was so upset when the prostitute he ordered did not match his expectations, he rang 999 to complain to police.

The shameless customer bluntly told the working girl she was not the Pretty Woman he’d been hoping for when she turned up to meet him outside a hotel.

When she responded by angrily grabbing his car keys, he reported her for breaching the Sale of Goods Act.

Stunned emergency operators listened as he bitterly complained she had misled him about her appearance – when it was he who had broken the law by soliciting for sex.

‘It was unbelievable,’ said Sgt Jerome Moran. ‘He believed he had done nothing wrong and that the woman should have been investigated by police for misrepresentation.’

The unnamed man called 999 in Solihull on Tuesday night after the woman took the keys, ran away from his car and threw them back at him.

The female officer who spoke to him hung up after he launched into his bizarre complaint.

But Sgt Moran later phoned him back to give him some words of advice.

Still not chastened, the angry caller threatened to come down to the station to debate the matter further.

He refused to give his name and never turned up but officers have sent him a letter after managing to identify him.

In an unusual step, they have released the tape of his initial call to ‘highlight regular abuse’ of the 999 number.

In the recording, the man says the prostitute ‘got her knickers in a twist’ when he backed out of their deal. He adds: ‘Beforehand I have asked for a description of her – give me an honest description otherwise when I get there I’m not going to use your services.

‘She’s mis-described and misrepresented herself totally.

‘She was angry – she thinks I owe her a living or something.’

You heard about the one about the prostitute that had her appendix out, she asked the doctors to leave the wound open, so she could make a bit on the side..

I went out with a blind prostitute once. You had to hand it to her.

Well, she couldn’t have been that good at her job, I would have thought she had a “Feel ” for it.

Go to Holland and see how its done.No stigma attached .After all its men who have the strong sex drive, should be legalized in the uk,help cut down crime.Prostitution is illegal here in Thailand!Yes it is although its not looked at in the same way and at least all the girls are there for you to choose from!!

But it is not legal. The risks are there, just the same, though and it will always be seedy in most peoples minds. Not sure how it is dangerous for all unless you mean people who get mistaken for prostitutes by people like Peter Sutcliffe, and since it is a crime and usually the proceeds go to the sort of people who could be classified as dodgy or criminal I’m not sure it encourages crime so much as keeps it going…

It is seen as seedy,it really shouldn’t be it’s the oldest profession and in certain circumstances could be seen as an therapy or an act of medical welfare in certain situations.
It is dangerous for all.You can end up in unsafe places, you can end up with STD’s ,the pimps are probably more involved with crime. The prostitutes are victims as well.
Sex in this country is seen as taboo but i would guess as i’ve seen on these forums many ex service men and police etc have seen the seedier side of things. When something is made to be like this then it goes underground–not good.

It certainly opens up some discussions.
Prostitution is a service so they really should adhere to some sort of code of practice. The right to choose before you buy.
It’s about time prostitution was legalised, take the risks ,seediness and stigmas away.It is dangerous for all and encourages crime.

And now a punter is the guilty one, was on newnight? the other night. Personally I’d legalise brothels, works in Germany and Holland, gets them off the streets, safer for them, and looked after.

I think I am right in saying that in the UK prostitution itself is not illegal.

But the ‘service’ is hemmed about with laws on promotion / soliciting and ‘brothel keeping’ if more than two girls work from one location.
