Errrr, Well, snafu, as I am still here, I think that answers your question…….:o

You might have had the head as a starter…;o)

Chop different types of meat into unrecognisable chunks and cook and you wouldn’t know the source

What, just like Tesco, Lidl, Findus, etc?

Yes Gary, Very true, I was looking at TOP GEAR the other night

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, snort, gruck, zzzzzzzzz…

and the trio were in some far Eastern Country, and stopped of to eat, birds, insects etc. turned me over just what these Orientals will eat. Customary for them, and I thought at the time, what would their reaction be to eating some of our food, like “Black pudding” etc. One of my favourites BTW.

Or haggis? Sausages used to be made from all the stuff that didn’t go for anything else. At least now its supposed to be from only one type of animal…

Makes you realise just how much visual input or mental input affects your ability towards eating.Chop different types of meat into unrecognisable chunks and cook and you wouldn’t know the source but look at it in it’s animal/insect/bird/reptile form and t’s stomach turning.

The strangest thing I have ever eaten, (And I will try anything once,) was Rattlesnake, in Las Vegas. funnily, I thought it tasted O.K. but wouldn’t like to eat it on a regular basis,

So did we, years ago. Many years ago. Centuries ago, in fact.

There’s lots of nourishment on a snail. In fact freelance snail rustlers have been reducing numbers to the point of extinction in areas of the home counties, just to fill the demand from expensive restaurants in London. No demand for slugs though… Can’t understand that.
Used to have a colleague who hung roadkill in the downstairs toilet to mature. Rabbit, pheasant, deer, duck, swan, heron, even badger and apparently the odd hedgehog (although I suspect that wasn’t roadkill). Hanging a body wouldn’t be so strange, I suppose, although it would just taste a little porkish, just the same.

Whats the strangest thing you’ve eaten? Mine was a marble, if you don’t count a Findus lasagna…

Are you implying that someone could have been leaving him to mature?

Unbelievable (in France).

Unbelievable anywhere, but not exactly unique.
