….For another friendly welcome and a fun Vintage Aircraft Club fly-in on Saturday.
There seemed a lot of aeroplanes around considering the lowering cloudbase through the morning, then the increasing Southerly (ie cross) wind in the afternoon – but I certainly enjoyed myself and I’m sure plenty more did too.
See you next year – planners permitting!
Mind you those marshallers were scary. I know it was All-Hallows eve or something, but I dare you to publish those photos you took ArmWaver!!

The guilty parties are:
1. Trying the mask on for size – Neil Porter
2. The center picture is L-R: Myself – Frankenstein’s Monster, My sister – Witch and Dave – Devil
3. Me again…
Who said you have to be serious!!!

Scary pics
Can you imagine taxying in and finding this lot marshalling you?
Well, it was the All-Hallows fly-in!
Thanks to ‘Armwaver’ and to Paul Loveday for the pics, and the ‘Spirit of 1875’ marshalling crew for giving us a good laugh!!

I wasn’t able to be there as I was running the clubhouse at Popham. Will be there again soon though.

There were 40 visitors on the books at the end of the day.
A respectable total considering…
It was, as always, a pleasure for the marshalling team.
We brought smiles to peoples faces.
I personally didn’t take any pictures… Dad did however… 😀
I have no probs with them – just can’t host them for here…
