Has anyone else had problems with the external power connector on their Lowrance Airmap 500 GPS?
The connection seems poor (you just have to look at it and it switches back to battery 🙁 ).
Not sure if I have a duff lead/unit, or worse, this is a design fault which means I’ll have to re-assess my nav options.

Well, I for one will be buying a Lowrance 500 and will do so ‘cos of the VERY good reviews on it. i have not heard of any probs with the power connection, but trust that by now it will be sorted.

Ditto Moggy. Most people I know use Garmin & Skymap and are very happy with them.
