I am sorry to be tiresome, but well before any ‘flood of immigrants from Eastern Europe’ my mother, then in her 90s, fell victim to this very same sort of crime in Southport, Lancashire.

I am not looking for sympathy, but I do have an ulterior motive for telling you this.

Over on FLYER the ‘non-aviation’ forum has just been pulled completely. The main cause was bigoted racism.

Since the Malala thread yesterday the nature of postings here on GD has been discussed by the Mods and the Webbie. It should be a place for aviation enthusiasts to talk off-topic, and is intended to be enjoyable.

Can I suggest we return it to such, and that if you feel inclined to vent your unhappiness with anybody who doesn’t happen to be pink-skinned and C of E, you find an EDL or National Front forum to post to?

So you deport them to a Uk registered territory, such as South Georgia, or a remote island off the Shetlands with no access to the mainland, until they can tell you where they came from, or bring back the stocks and lock them in those for a week or two. A bit like the Aussies where they hold all immigrants on an Island miles from the mainland.

Quite so – I thought your post was rather amusing, Tony!:highly_amused: The sooner we have kicked the shackles of the ECHR and the Laws it upholds and work within a UK Bill of Rights the better. Here’s a thought – if Salmond gets his way and the Scots set off in to the unknown they’ll be tied in nice and tight to Brussels so all these unwanteds can take the fast ferry to Leith.

You can’t do that to old folks for being mugged. There would be an uproar

Errr Tony, they DO beat OUR elderly up in Care Homes, and get away with it, so what chance, albeit a good idea, with the illegals?.

Gary, This is exactly the same question I asked my old oppo, it’s VERY VERY complicated. Most when they come over here destroy ANYTHING that could pinpoint where they came from, ergo, no one knows where to send them back to. There is a lot more, but we will have to have a good chat next time we meet up.Can’t very well discuss that sort of thing on the forum.
