Landing Fees

I don’t fly or anything but at an airport I know, Northrepps International, the landing fees are the following: –

£5 Aircraft/Helicopter
£3 Microlight

I know this is significantly cheaper than at alarge airports but is this comparatively cheap compared to other Grass strip airfields,

I think it is wartime and before.

Yeah? Vietnam? Falklands? Gulf?

I’ll be there 🙂

Brimpton, next to Aldermaston, is a (well-spent) fiver, one of only two licensed fields in Berkshire.

It has a farm strippy feel, but is big enough for the resident Provosts.

Popham is a fiver, Thruxton is a tenner, Sandown is a tenner unless you have an old aeroplane.

How old?

Try landing at somewhere like Shoreham! I saw an invoice someone had after a flight to Goodwood and they were charged for the circuit as well.

Popham is a fiver, Thruxton is a tenner, Sandown is a tenner unless you have an old aeroplane.

Looks pretty competitive to me.

I think it was a fiver at Hucknall last year when I visited.
